Summer time is coming!

Grammy scanned in Lexie's first report card. Here is it.

Last weekend was wonderful. Saturday we did the Alpenrose Easter Egg hunt. It rained but Lexie had a blast. It was so exciting for her. The only part that she didn't like was how I hurried her past the gigantic Easter Bunny waving, hugging and taking pictures with the kids. There was a long line, and I had forgot the camera. She really wanted a hug from him and talked about it all weekend. Then we went to breakfast at the Black Bear Diner. I'd never been and really enjoyed it. Lexie at eggs, bacon, and pancakes. She liked the pancakes so much she took home the leftovers and finished them the next day. We were a half hour late, but made it to the sixth annual Broadway Medical Clinic Bowl-a-thon. This year supporting the American Heart Association. Lexie was on a kid team on lane 29 and I played on a two person team on lane 30. My team mate was Brandy from the lab, and Lexie's team was Brandy's three children, Sasheen, Cabrea, and Bryce. Lexie bowled very well for only her second time. She had a blast. On the way out, she got a prize seahorse necklace that she treasures now.

On Easter we drove out to Yamhill and set up an Easter Egg hunt for Lexie and Lucas in the forest. It was the best. They both loved it. Pictures are down a ways below.

Word(s) of the day: MARMADUKE

Today I'm grateful for Lexie, Mom and Dad, life, water, Pathfinder, iPod, and flowers.
