I already miss being on vacation! Even with all the mosquitoes and a cold, Lexie had a blast. She loved all the attention and the outdoors, She constantly wanted me to go on walks with her. It was the best. If you took away the mosquitoes and illness, it would have been heavenly. I'll have to post pictures soon. Right now, we are short handed, it's month end, and we have another staffing change. Swapping IT staff this afternoon. Busy, busy, busy. Had the situation been even slightly less hectic, I would have opted to stay home and recouperate.

Bob the Builder, Yes We Can!!
Ooooowee. Lexie's first day of school! I dropped her off this morning, it was soooo cool. pictures below.
The work week was short, only two days. Monday I took Lexie and we checked out the school. It was fun. She swam good in swim Sunday, with a new swim suit. Now we're getting ready for camping.

Figaro, Figaro, Fiiiiigaaarooo..
I'm not really sure what the dealio is with our pictures not posting right. I'm going to leave it alone and come back to it at another time. Today is Friday. Hurrah. I'm excited and rushed. I only work two days next week and it's the end of the month, so that means taking a lot of work home. I love working for home, but would rather play. Monday we check out a pre-school for Lexie, Thursday we pack up the RV, Friday off to camping.

Lexie log: Believe it or not, Lexie still prefers water or milk. She will not drink pop and only rarely will have a sip of juice. I love it. I hope it stays this way. On the flip side, who knew children could be such stubborn, picky, eaters?! If it weren't for children's vitamins, I'm not sure what I'd do.

Yes, I do believe it's true...
When I got to work this morning, I noticed that my pictures from the beach didn't load properly. I know this is because I was too hasty and not allowing the software to finish before I started uploading the next file. So, I will delete the partials and start over some time soon. Can't do it from work though, so it'll have to wait. We are one person short here for indefinite amount of time. Along with two very new coders, this means I am bailing out account auditing, and charge entry. Very busy with overtime. Only at work two days next week on top of that. So, not much blogging will happen.

Lexie log: She is just the cutest! I can't believe how fast she grows up. With this nice weather she spends a lot of time out back. I just love nice weather!

Someday over the rainbow...
Well, I wish I had more time to blog today, but I'll try to get a brief one that doesn't go too much past my break. This weekend was awesome! The weather was grande, I fell in love with Bullwinkles, and Mother's day was fantastic (minus me being a tad hormonal Sat. night, Mon. morning.) The beach was just gorgeous and Lexie and Thumper just loved it. We had a wonderful dinner at the Chinook Winds buffet. After dinner, Frank and his Mom each played five dollars on a slot machine. Frank turned five in to 83.00 and Betty turned hers into 77.00.

Lexie log: Lexie loved the bumper boats, and the sling shot. Her laugh charmed the guy running the show. He mentioned it was the cutest laugh he had ever heard, and she even had him laughing. She wasn't so great at golf, she was worn out by then. She really enjoyed playing with the other kids and just adores Lucas. Her Dad told her to give him a birthday kiss, and when she tried, he wouldn't let her, so she cried. It was cute, yet a little heart breaking. I wish we could have parties there every weekend.
Grammy mentioned that she had never before seen anyone swim in the sand...Lexie did. She was in heaven.
Today I'm grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom, Dad, family and friends, weekends, fun, sun, the ocean, and life.
