Here we go round the Mulberry bush...

Taking a little break today. I just finished up with posting charges and have a few spare moments until the cascade of backups, reports, jobs, etc. that comprise what we call 'MONTH END' A series of jobs to set parameters and schedule so that the ballet of bits doesn't collide and cause financial upheavel. Backups to ensure that the bits are retained in some fashion in case they do collide. Reports to show how the bits are organized and if we are profit or loss etc. Funish? Yes. An organizational phenomenon that encompasses a week of my time.

Word(s) of the day: BENZOCAINE LOZENGE

Lexie log: She's just getting over her cold. She didn't make it to swim Sunday, but Teache AJ called and said he recommended she stay in Water Safety I for the next two sessions. He said her skill is excellent for her age, but her age should keep her working on technique for roll overs and U-turns for a while.
I let her pick out her own movie this weekend and she blindly chose the animated Batman vs Dracula. She made about 3/4 of the way through the movie before she decided it was to scary. She is a Kim Possible fan and runs around the house in mimicking her in mock battles with karte chops and kicks and a big ol smile on her face.
She has been loving the nice weather. She spends most of her time in a summer dress and likes to put on her rubber boots and go kick up dirt in the yard. On a nice day you can count on finding her in a cute dress with dark blue rubber boots, crouched over a mound of dirt, rearranging it, and finding new ways to pour it on Thumper. The two of them are a pair to watch out there.

Today I'm grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom and Dad, sunny days, weekends, water, and life.
