Walk like an Egyptian...

We got a new coffee machine at work. Mmmm. Yesterday we had 'Kona Blend', and today is 'Fried Nerve Endings'. Month end closed very nicely this month, this is getting easier.

Word(s) of the day: PSYCHEDELIC

Lexie log: While Lexie had her cold, we came up with a couple new nicknames for her. Sugar Booger, and Booger Bean.
She has been getting packages and cards daily from her Grammy. I took pictures of the last two, but forgot to add them. Hopefully I will tonight. Yesterday, Lex and I had a great time at the doctors office while Daddy had an appointment. When she learned that we were going to the doctors, she grabbed her stuffed animal Chocolate Labrador and Black Labrador to take with her. The Chocolate has a tear in his front left leg, just above the paw, where Thumper got to him. A little bit of stuffing keeps peeking out. So, she figured the doctor could fix him up. After Daddy went back to the exam room, I asked the receptionist if she might have a small bandage for him. She said she would check into it. We went back to the bathroom and for a drink of water (she gets her own quite nicely from the cooler), and when we got back out to the lobby, the receptionist was ready for us. Lexie handed the dog to her and she bandaged him up nicely. Lexie was very grateful. Then, we wandered around the office building, taking the elevator up and down and walking the halways. We laughed and had a grand time. We got a back of gummy bears from the vending machine, went back to the lobby and she danced to the radio while we waited.

Today I'm grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom and Dad, good coffee, my job, my co-workers, my friends, water, weekends, and life.
