Get on your feet, Get up and make it happen...

Here is an excerpt of daily reading:

“This is a punch biopsy of an inflammatory process.  Part of the epidermis has been sheered during processing but there are spongiotic vesicles within a very thin epidermis.  There is a superficial perivascular and interstitial inflammatory infiltrate composed of lymphocytes, histiocytes, and numerous eosinophils.”

From a dermatologist’s pathology chart note.

Interesting link on a unique Scotland Lock

Today has been focused on updating the data warehouse schema from version 2.001 to 2.004 (Something’s been missing for a over a year and this has been left out), and then reloading all the tables.  Meetings and stuff.

Word(s) of the day:  ESTRELLA POCO

Lexie log:  Ohhh, my little star.  She’s such a sweetie.  I just got off the phone with her and Daddy.  Right after Daddy answered the phone, she busted in and said she wanted to say, “hi”.  She said hi to me, and explained that she has hearts and moons on her slippers and sheep on her shirt, and that she put her shirt on backwards.  She has come to a cute roadblock with her pronunciation of anything plural.  Everything gets an “es” at the end, even when it doesn’t end in s.  So, naturally, horses sounds just fine, but sheep comes out as ‘sheepses’. Stars are ‘starses’, hearts are ‘heartses’… you get the picture.  It’s cute.

Today I’m grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom and Dad, weekends, folders, staples, socks, space, water, air, and life.
