Ram...Bunk...Shush

Tuesday, February 28, 2006
Another busy day of work.  Projects, batches, post, etc.  This is the last day of the month, so start your engines…  Karina, HR department, brought in Mardi Gras necklaces for us all to were.  Festive.  No parade, however.  – Oh, my!  So, as usual we still get the occasional room of rest misfortune.  Today, someone chose to leave his ‘gift’.  Poor Carrie went to go in there and came out horrified.  She couldn’t even flush for fear of clogging.  She talked Jan into calling Central, but wait…Val who has muchas dama cohonnes, walks into the conference room where she knows the perpetrator to be.  She exclaims to the administrator that someone left a load, and said offender, who is standing right next to him, fesses up and goes to fix the problem.  Poor new guy.  He lost the battle before he even started here.  His predecessor spilled the beans that he has an unusual hobby.  He likes something called “fursuiting”.  Now go research that and tell me this guy doesn’t have some giggles from the gals in the business office.  The person who started this gossip chain even backed it up by providing a website with pictures of our furrier.  I have yet to see it, but most likely will.  So, that that hairball has been flushed…

Word(s) of the day: MARDI GRAS

Lexie log:  I love to call home and have her tell me what she’s up to.  Just a minute ago, she told me that she had eggs for breakfast, made a house, had a baby bear, and watched Bob the Builder.

Today I’m grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom and Dad, chicken, tomatoes, paperclips, my friends, laughter, energy, and life.
