Really really short blog today. Leaving in18 minutes to go get Lex and Frank and then to Willamette cemetary for the 12:00pm funeral for Don, then later to Sandy for the Hood to Coast thingy. -- Just got off the phone with Mom, and all is well.

Lexie log: Still keeping up with the bedtime routine. -- She slept an excessive amount yesterday. She's either having another growth spurt, or shes avoiding the heat.
Today I'm grateful for Frank and Lexie, public transportation, energy conservation, fingernails, yawning, trees, and bushes.

Got all caught up in the Zoo postings. I missed reading them. Remind me to bring the other parts to the camera....floppy reader and battery charger. Had a fantastic time in BC, Yukon, and Alaska. Longest vacation I've ever taken. Hope the weather here cools down a little. See you tomorrow. --Mom/Grammy
