Another brick in the wall.

Thursday, March 9, 2006
From the second story conference room windows this morning, I was taken for a moment with the beautiful sight of large fluffy snowflakes elegantly falling on the sloped black-shingled roof.  The effect was mesmerizing as the snowflakes simply disappeared on contact, providing the effect that they had merely passed through the solid roof to the other side.  Peaceful.

Word(s) of the day:  BALLOCK

Lexie log:  Oh what pure joy to play with her in the snow!  Last night, after bedtime of course, it started snowing, and sticking to the ground.  We all bundled up and went out to enjoy.  We had a snowball fight.  Lexie ran back and forth from the top of the driveway to where I was standing in the court.  She would make a snowball (keep in mind they are three year old size) up by the car and come racing down to me, with peels of laughter, and hurl her tiny snowball at me.  Then she would race back up for another one, all the time non-stop laughter.  Mean while, Daddy and I were tossing mini snowballs at her and each other.

Today I’m grateful for Frank and Lexie, Mom and Dad, Betty, family, snow, weekends, coffee, potatoes, fun, happiness, laughter, and life.
