Come on everybody, Clap your hands! Come on everybody, It's the Hamster Dance!

Here I sit at my desk wondering if it just isn't darn tootin' time to stick the ol' resume out in the wind and see what it sticks to. We went to Lexie's pediatrician's office yesterday. They moved offices out to Bethany Village. It's a really nice new office, really close to home. No pressure now. No need to find new job. Just desire to find something closer to home. I would have to have some requirements before I would leave this job: Same or higher pay, small to mid-sized clinic, same early hours, west side - closer to home. Oh well, just a passing, semi-fleeting thought. Just checked and my resume is completely up to date!

Word(s) of the day: SLOUGHING

Lexie log: Lexie has had this little irritation above the right end of her mouth for a few weeks that looks like it's slowly going away. Then yesterday after lunch Daddy called and said that she woke up with a large, new, whitish bump on the other side. He said it looked like a blister. We scheduled a same day with Dr. Miller to make sure they weren't related and everything was ok. Lexie was great at the doctor. All is well, just a fever blister. Her Daddy and his family get them from time to time and apparently my grandma Muttie got them a lot as a child. The other rash is what Dr. Miller called "lip lickers dermatitis" or a chapped lip gone bad because she wont leave it alone with her tongue. Wow, just realized this is a pretty anatomical blog entry. Hope Lex doesn't get embarrassed reading it when she older. Speaking of anatomy, Lexie has a strawberry birthmark on her right middle back. Dr. Miller and nurses keep saying it will get smaller and disappear, but it hasn't so far. I hope it stays. It is the most adorable little mark, like she has been kissed by a strawberry. -- This weekend we are supposed to be going on an Iris walk in Keizer. I hope we get to go.
